The "bring center" in Ringsend opposite the old Irish Glass place on the way to the toll take old computers/mobiles/glass/paper/clothes/phones and pretty much anything.

You now have to pay to dispose of electronic equipment, even though it's probably "recycled" into a Chinese landfill.
    (Last updated August 2003)
Please note the following in relation to this list: All waste electronic and electrical equipment is now considered hazardous under the European Waste List and is not accepted at landfill.

There are other companies - might dig the details up at work next week..

I've used Ballymount dump. Had standard stuff plus monitor so it was €9 (car) + €15 (monitor). Don't know if you had multiple stuff would it be multiple €15s, but also (on different occasions) dropped off wood and metal - if you have cases you'd probably be better off stripping the very little electronics (minus PSUs) and scrapping them as metal?

If you are in Dublin you could try Ringsend recycle centre.
AFAIK it is free. (the way it should be)

I usually leave it on the back seat of my car, park in Gardiner St, go for a coffee and "hey presto" when I come back it's always gone. :D

Had this monitor , synch on green 1024 at 60Hz only and the phosphor was so slow that screensavers left streaks.. was too heavy for one person to carry more than a short distance

when we moved it was unloaded out of the van and left to one side, after moving all the stuff in, put the kettle on and looked out the window - it was gone
