I see the NetSoc has moved to angier st. Does this mean they've escaped the egotisical dictatorship of the computing department in Kevins st?? And can I still get my stuff off the server from my account two years ago?

Yes you should be able to get your stuff off the server. PM me and i will see what i can do.

As for the situation with the school of computing i think the situation should not be discussed anymore especially on a public forum. All that matters is that netsoc is indeed up and running.
