Damn I just bought the 200 version of these from www.advancedmp3players.com for Sterling £44 delivered. The only difference between this and the one that I got is that you get an a/c adaptor with this one and it takes 4 AAA batteries instead of AA batteries in the case of mine.

Have to say €50 is a bargain the sound quality out of these babies is absolutely stunning especially when one take into account their size and ultra portablity. Beautifully clear and rich and the bass is nothing short of outstanding... :)

Maybe I'm missing something but where did you see that the AC adapter was included??:confused::confused:

Well I did alot of research on these little beauties before I went for the plunge and purchased them (the main reason is for my round the world trip next year but they're great for tunes in the bedroom, bathroom etc...) and from what I gathered there are two versions:

Creative Travelsound Speakers with AC adapter which takes 4 AAA batteries (these have been around for a while I think) and the Creative Travelsound Speakers 200 which is a slightly newer and updated model. It takes AA batteries (+ more common, - heavier) and doesn't include the AC adaptor which is not really a big deal for me as the unit still has a DC 5v socket which is the same as my Iriver 140. I guess the newer model might have some very slight improvements although I haven't read about any. The newer model also looks a little different as well which is why I think the one they're selling in Peats (going by the photo on the website) is the older model. Of course the photo could just be for illustrative purposes so I could be wrond. Perhaps someone who has bought them there could clarify?

Nope, it is the new 200 model that takes AA batts :) & it has no AC adapter with it. :(

Oh, BTW they do look slightly different to the pic on the Peats website, on the front of it, the little blue light is on the bottom & the logo's are at the top. Other than that they seem the same.

I've yet to meet someone who hasn't been seriously impressed with the sound from these after a quick demonstration. Alot of my mates are either DJs or serious audiophiles as well so they're not necessarily impressed easily!

Indeed, do the other resaons include illegal substances :D

I wonder if ther is a case which would take the speakers cd player a couple of cds and the mains adapters?
