JES are also selling the laptop.

That laptop doesn't seem as much of a bargain as previous versions did. The graphics card is nice and the fact that it's 64 bit is good too, but even still it doesn't seem like that much of a bargain.

I like the look of the remote control although it doesn't state why it's provided (is there an integrated TV tuner?).

Given that JES are selling it for 100 euros less maybe all the details aren't online yet.

This laptop was sold for 1399 in lidl in Germany and in the Netherlands. I think there may be an extra year guarantee with LIDL, plus they are throwing in the laptop bag and usb stick so when you consider the cost of shipping, hassle of bank payments, the extras and changing the keyboard the extra €100 in LIDL is probably worth it

That laptop isnt really good value at all..

The Fujitsu Siemens A1630 with the exact same spec is available for €1480 from www.microaid.ie and I know which I'd rather have!

not exactly the same spec (20 gb smaller hdd, only dvd-, no case, usbstick, light, 3 year guarantee, different ram, no mention of card reader etc.) still that is a great price for a fujitsu siemens, they are sweet looking machines.

I have one of the wireless optical mice .
Its a great device ,realy cool but the battery life is crap, about 1 week on average.
    Still a good buy.
