Has anyone heard of Jenson Buttons fate yet? I know the Contracts Recognition Board are to give their decision today, but I haven't heard anything yet.

The Contract Recognition Board has agreed that Jenson Button's contract with BAR is valid. The board met in Milan on Saturday and a decision was taken today. Button will have to stay now at the British BAR team.

A Williams spokesman confirmed that the Contract Recognition Board had found in BAR's favour.

The 24-year old Jenson Button had agreed with the Williams team to join them for next season, but the BAR said that Button still had a contract with the team.

I have to say i dont feel sorry for him!.....and it wouldnt surprise me if Sato got preferential treatment to him for next season!

Button & BAR were both to blame for the mud slinging that happened - there was a pair of them in it. Fantastic news for next season in any case -

As for whether Sato gets 'preferential' treatement or not, as a BAR & Button fan all I care about is them doing well after years of woefulness!!!! Sato while he is a quick little bugger just can't hang with the big boys - JB has proved he can, & once he has the car under him he can run....

Sato just needs to learn that he doesn't need to go like a jackhammer when he goes racing.... but time will teach him that, he's still young....but so many drivers look potentially good for the future, but how many of them actually will be???

Montoya always looked sharp as a racer in any series he raced in [am a HUGE monty fan!!!] but sometimes I wonder where his head is when he's out on track.... I think he drives alot from his heart rather than his head like Schumacher. Jenson is a 'head driver', much like Webber & a few others like Alonso.
