After spending almost the whole day going from shop to shop trying to buy a blue mini Ipod and finding none, it made me think, with an extra €60 I can get the 20GB Ipod. I think both would do the job. But for an extra €60 I get an extra 16GB which to me is great value. No one can deny that the mini looks much sweeter but most of the time the thing will be in my pocket anyways :)
So what do you guys think? Should I go for the mini Ipod or go for the 20GB Ipod?
    Thanks :)

I say go for the 20GB Ipod.. better value, once you'll make use of it that is...

Hade the same debate myself last week over the silver mini iPod or the regular 20gig one.

In the end I went for the 20gig one, made more sense for the price difference and you can just as easily fit the 20gig iPod in your pocket.

Unless you planned on jogging with the mini iPod on an armband :)

Really? From where? And how much of a discount are we talking about? All I need to have is a student ID?

Was on Apple's website and if you buy Ipod online, you get free engraving. Cool :)

[Edit]I found the discount for student. It works out as €312 for the 20GB Ipod. Its actually a rebate but I still get the free laser engraving. Sweet. Thanks for the heads up on the discount NoMur :D
Anyone interested in the site for the discount, click here [/Edit]

Go for the 20gig sure its small enough anyway....heres a link to the student discount store on Apple's site....think you get 8% off (not bad)....Oh and they don't check that you are actually a student...a mate of mine bought one & he ain't a student but he got the discount :D
    20gig works out @ €312 as opposed to €339

Hope I'm not thread spoiling here, just offering up an alternative. According to this thread, you should go for the iRiver IHP-140. I would if I had the money to spend.
