    Hey guys,

Anyone goto see Damo in the metro last night ? Fantastic gig !

One of Australias newest pop sensation Missy Higgins played support. I nearly cringed when I saw her come on stage, however she was actually very good and even did 2 songs with Damien at the end. Not a touch on Lisa of course.

Got some photos and some small mpg's if anyone is interested.

Blast it! I always seem to miss Damien Rice. Does anyone know when he's playing again? Saw him at Whelan's and at the Heinken festival, was blown away. Would be interested in seeing those photos..Has anyone bougt the b-sides disc, is it worth it?

Some people just have opinions - go figure? Personally I think he's very good but not quite my cup of tea.

I know its not a thread about opinions of Damien Rice but I don't get the guy at all. Saw him live once and it did nothing to change my opinion. I was glad last Christmas when I was reading a summary of the musical year in Hotpress when Eamonn Sweeney commented on Rice's Shortlist Music Prize win and then said "he still lives me cold" sums my view of him up as well, i just don't find him engaging, lets see what he can do on a second album if it ever sees the light of day. Now Slaanesh get off the net and back to Bondi.....

I've heard at least ten other songs of his that wasnt on O and they are all brilliant and poetic, he supposedly has a few albums written.
