Hey all you Simpsons fans guess what.The other residents of springfield are getting their own show so people like Frinky glaven and Chief Wiggum will have their own show but none of the simpsons are going to be in it except maybe Grampa.It's due to start in Autumn in the USA and over here early next year.

Did any1 see the epsode of the Simpsons where a few characters had their own spin-off shows...there was "The love-matic Grandpa" featuring grandpa and Moe. "Wiggun P.I" about Cheif wiggum and skinner setting up a PI agency. And the last 1 i cant seem to remember...any ideas? Classic episode.

Hmmmm any show is going to have to centre on individual characters..
I mean if it is the case whereby each episode centres on a different character and what they get up to then your going to come across a hella lot (even more so than now) of incontuinities(sp?) from show to show.

for some reason that spin-off show keeps reminding me of the other episode where bart and millhouse check out the other interesting things that happen in springfield, bumblebeeman getting divorced, the tall lad in the VW beetle, wiggum and millhouses da in the army surplus shop.. etc. etc.
I honestly think I'd get bored with that pretty quickly, although anything to revive the crapness that the simpsons scripts have turned into.

this can only be a good thing i mean could u imagine the comic book guy having his own series....and although "spin off" can be an evil word it did give us DS9 (well the last 3 series anyway)

I can think of a few simpsons characters I'd like to see more of, don't know whether its a good or bad idea tho, we'll see when it comes out I suppose.

Id agree that its a good idea but if they make much more than 10 episodes it will probally get boring imo....How much do people REALLY care about the bumblebee man like ffs?

I have to say the worst episode of simpsons was the one where it was a musical and was the one where snake robs the simpsons arrrrggggg so bloody annoying

It might work as a TV series. The "Simpson" family are wearing a bit thin, even for long time fans like myself.
