    if you start your band as a gimmick (ie: all girl band) it will stay as a gimmick......and gimmicks have a definite shelf-life.

    All guy bands aren't considered gimmicks. Why should all girl bands be any different!

    its not a gimmick we just want to see if we can get another girl as its 3 girls already ,if we end up with a lad, then so be it. dont judge people you know nothing about

    it shouldnt be view as a gimmick that girls can play and like their instruments and want to make music. There aren't enough girls in bands and there should be more so if your a female bass player we really want to hear from you.

    hey i'm in an all girl band too and god its so annoyin people giving you **** coz you're girls. but the again people can be very supportive of the idea. and it's not a gimmic unless you want it to be.
    we're based in like limerick/clare so if ye're ever down here and want a support act...

    its grand as long as its not a "girls can do whatever boys can do" fiasco, that sort of crap is hateful. Otherwise rock on 0+s, if i meet a female bassist ill pass on d message.
