Looking for 2 programs........

I don't really have continous internet access so i am wondering if there is a program where i can download a webpage along with all it's links and then take it from one pc to another with no net access.

I also want a program that will let me hide folders on my pc.

Make a new directory. You can save (under File > Save) the page into that directory using your browser, although on many websites each page has the same name - just add a number to the name. Copy that directory onto whatever media you are using to transfer your data. This procedure is for copying pages from news sites and the like. Images and the like may not necessarily be saved.

Applicatiosn that aautomated this tend to be frowned upon by sites and may be blocked by sites that get abused.

IMO Hide Folders xp is better and easier! but try both!

One program jumps to mind, Internet Explorer. File, Save As, Web Page Complete. It does a half decent job of grabbing everything. You can also have it create an archive files(.mht) where it puts everything in one file which is more portable.

So you are suggesting going to ALL the links and using File : Save Web Page for each and EVERY link?

Hiding folders not as easy...right click, properties and tick Hidden? Obviously it'll show if "Show hidden files and folders" is enabled

Didn't read the question well enough, if you want the links then you do need something other than IE. I'm sure WinHTTrack is a fine program and will do the job.

Websnake was good, then it turned evil and helped the spammers (allowed you do harvest email addresses). Not sure it is still around.
