burning DVDS ????

I need help burning a dvd which will be readable in a dvd player. It is a winamp media file and i have no idea how to convert it so i can burn it.
Can some1 : please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

More detail than that required I'm afraid. A good place to start is www.doom9.net or *ahem* google.

if you dont know much about it and stuff (which admittingly i dont) i found that Nero powerpack, or whatever its called, think the programs called nero encode , you just say "make dvd" or summat, then you insert the file and it takes about 2hrs to convert to about 4gb of them...vob files which go straight onto a dvd and work fine on a normal dvd player, even though i dont bother much coz ive got a dvd/divx player

Its call NeroVision Express 2, not sure if that will work with winamp files! never tried!

I would imagine that you are trying to convert a divX so you can watch it on TV. You need to know what format the file you’re watching is and then just fine a program to convert it to DVD format (www.Downloads.com) is a good place to look.
