    Hi

    I tried logging on this morning but it comes up as I am not allowed. This is thejollyrodger here. I tried emailing a few people and got no reply. Did I do something wront :'(

    Your account looks fine here. admin[at]boards.ie is the correct address to mail with this sort of issue. Perhaps a dodgy key on the keyboard you were using or something?

    thejollyrodger, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.



    The above still appears when I try to post. I've tried posting in the soccer and other sections like Transport and it doesnt work for some reason.

    I've again tried the http://pie.boards.ie/ and http://www.boards.ie/.

    I have also tried I.E and Mozilla. I still cant post

    I did change my email address recently though on personal details. Would that make a difference ?

    If you changed your email address then it should have sent you an e-mail with a link to click that confirms your new address before you can post again. Make sure it didn't go into any junk mail folders or anything like that.

    yes, then i changed email address again and it didnt get any email:S

    I requested a new password , got it , then changed it and still cant post

    It won't let you post until you verify that e-mail address. You seem to have verified your Capt.Blackbeard one so you're familiar with the process ... You're going to have to figure out what your mail filters are doing with that e-mail we're sending you.

    thanx a million ecksor !!! I finally got it working. For some strange reason the validation email didnt appear in my hotmail account.
