Can't wait for this, a thunderbirds styled satire on the war on terror by Trey Parker (of South Park fame).

Looks hilarious, just saw a clip of Hans Blix popping in to visit Kim Jong-il (who sounds remarkably like Cartman).

Saw this clip as well - very funny!

We've a helluva wait til it reaches Irish cinemas, i'm afraid!...

14th January 2005 is the UK release date, so expect it the same weekend.

I'm not so sure it can be described as a satire on the 'war on terror' - Parker and Stone have satirized both right and left, but they seem to come down slightly to the right. Their ultimate message about the war on terror seems to be something along the lines of "you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs".

They certainly don't pull any punches with their treatment of Hollywood's left/liberal tendencies...

Best way I saw it described was "not a pro-war movie, but definitely an anti-anti-war movie"
