    Lads,

As usual I have left everything to the last minute - i have just learned that my new passport won't be ready til Monday the 19th Oct, I start my expedition on Nov 2nd, my question is how long does it take for a working visa for Oz to be issued?
Can I get the working visa in Oz itself?
Is there an Oz consulate in Ireland or do i have to apply to the one in the Uk for the working visa?
Is there an Irish company that can speed an application up for an extra fee?

Lads this is very urgent and i would greatly appreciate as much info on this as possible?

    Thanks

The australian embassy is in Fortwilton House on wilton terrace between fitzwilliam place and the canal. I'm pretty sure you need a visa...

and i think this is the link:

    Working Holiday visa applications
Working Holiday visa applications submitted electronically are normally finalised within 2 working days. In some instances, applications may need to be referred to an Australian Immigration Office in Australia for further processing. Referred applications may take up to 4 weeks to finalise.

Thanks for the info Ruggie - but the link to apply online doesn't work - hasn't done for months.
    Anybody else any ideas

Used that link when i applied for mine and it worked fine (that was back in May) and i had my visa application in 2 days. Other than that there is a crowd called Visa First i think who will process your visa for you but you pay 130 euro rather than 100 online with the immi link
