Did anyone watch the above programme last night on Discovery Health. Really bizarre programme about men who get turned on by extremely/life-threatening overweight women - think one woman weighed around 45 stone. It was very sad really and even though it was freaking me out I still watched it. Wondering what anyone else thought of it. In one way I felt it was a form of abuse on the women BUT then they didn't have to eat

Watched a little bit of it. You say "BUT then they didn't have to eat". The one woman i saw in bed was so obese that it looked like she was unable to get out of bed therefore had to eat whatever he left on the bed for her. You have to wonder why they let themselves get so huge but i suppose if you don't walk in their shoes one can never know. Hope they got the help they needed because she sure looked like she was totally helpless and lost all dignity.

But as i said, i didn't watch it all :)

but i suppose if you don't walk in their shoes one can never know.

Doubt they do much walking in their shoes either.

Heard a sick story a few week's back about a woman who died sitting down on a couch, when the firemen came to recover the body, they found her skin had grown into the couch (as in had grown around the couch fibres). Apparently the smell was vile also. Someone commented at the time -"Just shows you are what you eat. You eat filth, you become filth".
