Got details of this today via a PADi email - which I accidently deleted.

I could do with getting some kit at reasonable (ie not Irish) prices

    Anybody been to similar?

I've been to 2 dive shows in the UK and the one in Ireland last year.

I can't say that you will snap up a load of gear at outrageous discounts but you might get a few quid off here and there. The advantage is that you get to see the kit and check it out before you buy.

Prices are generally the same as on the websites as the online competition has driven prices out into the open and down pretty much as far as the dive shops are willing to go.

Although saying all this i seem to remember getting a pretty good deal on a poseidon reg when in Birmingham.... you could be luck. It is the end of the season afterall and they might want to shift a load of stock.

Also with any of these shows it's a good idea to choose what you want on the first day or morning then buy towards the end of the show. They are generally more receptive to a bit of bargaining then! Also if you are looking to buy a lot of gear then buy from the one retailer - should get a good discount!

Was thinking of it, but didn't get around to booking flights, so they've gone massively expensive.

Anybody want to share the cost of the ferry and some petrol?

    Roumer has relayed good prices....
