    Jimmy Behan :
A native of Carlow and residing in Dublin, Jimmy is somewhat of a veteran on the Irish electronic scene at this point. His tracks have previously surfaced on several compilations, Slanted and Enchanted, Synergia 1 + 2, Ballroom of Romance 5, Lazybird 1, Foggy Notions, a 12" EP for Kin Recordings and a split 7" for Road Relish.
He has collaborated with and remixed both Nina Hynes and Alphastates, and made regular live appearances, among them support slots for Four Tet, Lali Puna, Manitoba, Murcof, plus bookings for Mor 2004 and The Big Chill 2002.

Jimmy and his laptop will be joined by Nina Hynes on the night for a one off performance of 'Deeper than Heaven', a track they wrote together for the LP.

    press descriptions of Jimmy's music
" beautifully laid back slice of summer drifting" Eclectic Honey
"wispy, warm, electronic folk" the Ticket
"soft ambient pop reminiscent of air" the Milk Factory
"the folk strummings and warm ambience of Jimmy Behan sounding like the Boards of Canada covering Nick Drake" DJ Magazine
"a gentle and melodic melange of layered organic piano tunes textured into a swirling and jazzy mix of electronic tones that bring the listener further into the beats of the true electronica." La Plume Noir

    Chequerboard :

aka John Lambert. With his acoustic guitar, effects units and iMac John will be performing a new selection of tracks, many of which will make an appearance in 2005 on his forthcoming as yet untitled second LP, the follow up to 2002's Gothica.

"Gothica is a multi-faceted work featuring 14 miniature soundscapes," Eamonn Carr Evening Herald
"Fourteen tracks marry a musical box of icy chimes and wintry melodies with an inviting acoustic warmth" Eamonn Sweeney Hotpress
"He seems to have a knack for making simple but lovely Aphex-like melodies, which would be layered over beats which reminded me of Autechre at their least aggressive." Paul Watts All Ireland music.com

    Northstation
is Steve Fanagan aka moose eats leaf, old man polka and wrecking ball. His latest record and second LP as Northstation 'Bears' was released on Compactrisc July 2004. Recorded by Steve at home over the course of the a year, it is a meditative collection of fractured electronics and chiming guitars that brings to mind things like the hum of Labradford, the electronic warmth of Four Tet, and a host of other stuff from Polmo Polpo to This Heat.

One of the outstanding live performances at this year's Mor festival, Steve will be bringing his melodic soundscapes and beats to Dame Lane with the aid of live captured loops, efx pedals, keyboard, guitar, drum machine, voice and toy piano.

"some wonderfully elegant melodies, hidden behind its fractured and fragmented electronics." Eclectic Honey on 'Bears'
