    Ghetto Funk Techno !

Get ready to rub your ti*ties and shake your ass as on October 8th Technology is back in the Temple Bar Music Centre with none other than Wilko form Ignition Technician who’ll be treating us to a 2hr set of his trademark ghetto funk Techno. Wilko is best known for his work with Pete Simpson as Ignition Technician but has recently began churning out solo releases on his new label Pimp Records and other labels such as Red Seal, Core and Template. He has been playing exclusive solo DJ sets of his unique booty shake Techno with performances full of funk and energy with fast fresh beats and Hip Hop flavoured loops.

Wilko grew up in Leeds and has worked in all levels of the club scene. He has worked as sound engineer for clubs such as Cream, Bugged Out and Orbit (where he still works today). He performs live Techno alongside Pete Simpson as Ignition Technician. As a producer he has a very impressive back catalogue with a whole string of releases and collaborations under both Ignition Technician and Wilko for a series of labels such as Ignition, Pounding Grooves, Audio, Punish, Tortured, Wedafuqawi, Planet Rhythm, Template, Ergonomix and Urban Substance. Don’t out miss on this chance to see him churn out one of his pounding sets of funky ass Techno like you’ve never heard before.

Support in the main room on the night will come from Club Educate’s John Gibbons and Fusion Inc’s Wong Sai Hung. They’ll be mixing up their two distinct styles in a special back to back performance for a warm up that’s guaranteed rock the house. And as always they’ll also be a massive visuals show on stage courtesy of Fusion Inc’s own Video DJ Steve Carroll

keeping the side bar hopping on the night is a mix up of various styles from four great DJ’s; a house set from Mervin Sayers, they’ll be Techno from Rob Moore of Technosis, some Electro from Technology regular Keylock’d and finally Dave Fields from Stylus finishing of proceedings in style.
