Just watching the Man U V Bermingham reserve game and about 20 UTD fans some of the wearing Balaclavas invaded the pitch with a not for sale banner. They walked the length of the pitch and have now been escorted from the ground by security staff.

Utd are winning 2 1 and Louis Saha is playing and looking sharp which is good news after his month out.

Sky Sports News claimed it was 30 fans , but thats not the important bit .
The fans obviously don't have to sell they're shares , but can they do anything to stop Glazier from getting a majority share ? , I doubt it .

I expect Glazier to go ahead with increasing his stake for the moment .

I was just estimating 20 as I was watching it on MUTV there was quite possibly more.

I think you are right about Glazier and TBH I,m not that bothered if he buys out our fellow countrymens shares, He can hardly cause any more problems to the club than they have.

I love these guys who insist Manchester United is Not For Sale. It's a public company, it is for sale. They don't seem to be able to get their heads around this simple fact.

Well the simple fact is that they stopped Rupert Murdoch from taking over in 1998, why can't they do it now?

As I remember it Murdoch was stopped by the Monopolies commission because there was the possibility of a conflict of interests with Murdochs other football interests. AFAIK Glazier has no oter involvment in The premiership other than Man Utd.

Shareholder United played its part in stopping the Murdoch bid , but if Murdoch had not had other involvment in football I doubt they could have stopped him,

Personally I dont care who owns United as long as they are willing to finance the manager with his plans for the club and let him do his job with minimun interfearance from the Board. We have seen with the drop in profits this year United need to be doing well for the investors to realise maximun ruturn on their investment .
