    Hi all...

If you live in Ratoath please read..

My line failed so I cant get BB, I made a plea with Irish Broadband to see would they setup wireless BB in the town..

    here is the response:

    Dear David
Thank you for your interest in internet connections from Irish Broadband. We don't have any specific plans to cover the Ratoath area at the moment, as we have not had sufficient demand from the region so far.

If we find that demand in your area increases and we get a larger amount of inquiries in the future, it is more likely that we will install a transmitter in the area. Therefore, if you have friends in the area who would like to get connected to our broadband service, please ask them to register this interest with us by e-mail, & Ratoath may become a priority area for us to bring into coverage!

If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact us by e-mail or on 01 481 8400.

Thank you very much for contacting us with regard to your broadband needs, and we trust that we will soon be able to cover your area.

    Kind Regards,
    Robert Dyer

So if you are having trouble getting BB please register your interest, I would love to tell eircom to get bent..

Currently looking into Ice Comm wireless, if possible I will be telling eircom to get bent and cancel my phone line..

    David,

I don't know if you have seen this link for a list of providers.

    Search by location

I suspect Ice is your best bet, the coverage definitely includes Ratoath. A bit pricey though compared to IBB.

    Best of luck,
MB (Happy IBB customer.....so far!) :D
