    Hey
i wiped my computer a couple of days ago and since then everytime i go onto the internet, every webpage im go onto has the same problem of flickering when i scroll down the page. its hard to explain , but basically when i scroll down there is a delay or lag and the page flickers until i stop scrolling. Its really p***ing me off, just wondering did anyone have the same problem and how did they fix it?
    Thanks
    Dutchboy

Go into control panel, and find the mouse options and select the wheel tab and you can adjust the wheel there.
    Experiment.

Its almost definitly your graphics drivers, Either install them right or download newer version.

Would it have anything to do with the fact that my vga controller is missing?
i checked my devices manager and the vga controller along with pci modem have yellow question marks on them. i cant install any new drivers because error comes up saying, 'cant find vga controller' setup cant continue. I have a dell 8600, the vga controller driver doesnt seem to be on the drivers and utilities disk, dont know where i could get it1 anyone got any ideas?
    thanks ;)

You'll probably have to delete the one out of device manager and then run the setup.

If you can't find the drivers what setup are you running ?

Either way if you delete it out of device manager and either refresh device manager or reboot it should prompt you for the drivers and will probably tell you the make and model of the card, you can then just search the net for it. If it doesn't you can probably have a look at dells website for the specifications of your pc and it should have it listed there. They'll probably the drivers too, I think there might be a support section, you choose downloads and enter your model number or serial number or something and it gives a list of all the dirvers they have for it. Actually that's probably the first thing you should try.
