I dunno if anyone has scene the John Claude VAn Damme film Kumite but in it there are people who train in grappling and they fight against big mongolians and strong karate-do strikers and I was thinking that maybe all of this recent talk on the boards that BBJ and boxing are the best is kind of strange.

What do you all think the best REAL martial arts is? I think it would be Kenpo for ground fighting and hand striking mixed with Te Kwon Do for kicks and aerial attacks.

I agree with thta point. That type of movie is much better than so called MAA, because it has no rules and everyone just FIGHTS! I think bushido is the strongest martial art.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,415 ✭✭✭Optikus

Have you seen my Tiger Style, its a special technique.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15 BlackBeltDave

Is Bushido that one where they mixed kickboxing and samuari swords and made this really lethal deadly martial art. I think that KILL BILL was based on it. I'd love to see one of those BBJ guys try and grapple a sword. Theyd look like a real dumbass.

Is tiger the one where you rip off peoples skin and arms with your bare hands by attacking them with hand claws? As for something more evil than a tiger? Youve never seen that!

my friend Richard trained with a japanese kung fu MASTERS who could stick his little finger right inot your solar plexus super easy

I saw this big bouncer guy try something with my senior sensei and he did something like that where he just put his smallest finger into the guys solar plecsus and the guy was like screaming and roaring and my sensei just kicked him in the testicles and the guy was knocked over and couldnt move for ten minutes. Then I heard some guy saying that death points and pressure points arent exactly useful and I thought to myself that this story proves that they work on real people.

Who is you sensi blackbeltdave? I think some of my friends might have trained with him in japan.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15 BlackBeltDave

I dont want to say who he is because my sensei (SENSEI MEANS LORD OR MASTER IN JAPANESE) has lots of enemies and I dont want them to find out who he is or where he is training. I will send you a private message about who he is and I hope you are a REAL martial artist and not one of these fakes that are Everywhere!

Do you train in this lethal Bushido thing Irish or what do you do and if you do what is it like? Also I will send you my real name as it is not Dave (I have to be careful as there are all kinds of crazys in the world who would want to hurt me or find out some of our secret techniques.)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10 Irish Samuari

Thanks Dave ;) I haven't taken a single martial arts lesson in my life. I would like to, but there are no schools here I would enjoy.

you cant really judge which one is the best, its all down to the performance of the martial artist, speed is the most important thing, and that can be done with any type of martial arts, tai kwon do is great and has alot of techiques but doesn't mean thats better and can beat others without a doubt, thai boxing is the most dangerous type of martial art and the winning chances is very high, but the training is very tough!

BlackBeltDave I think you watch too much movies and started to create your own little imaginal world, this is the year 2004, get real mate and stop talking rubbish, I have friends who trains ninjitsu and I also trained Tai Kwon Do, Thai Boxing and Wing Chun(which is a type of Kung Fu, the one Bruce Lee started off with) and we dont talk about stuff like you do! we've been training since we were like 4 or 5 yrs old, trained in asia and back to europe, theres none of that crap you on about and we've been training for over 20yrs mate, how old are you?? talk some sense boy and stop believing in those films, they are not real!

Tiger Style dose indeed use the spirit of the tiger... which you will soon feel if you get in my way. Your Sensi is a dishonorable fool, my ninja spy's will be dispatched at once to take his head, all have been hand trained by myself in the art of Shadow Boxing and my special technique of Tiger Style.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15 BlackBeltDave

    Optikus,

Good to look to your ninja spies being able to find my sensei. He is practically invisible and even if they get to him he'll just flip and cut off all there heads with his sharpened finger nails. I hope they dont use Tiger magick to rip off his head and/or arms becasue that would be unpleasant. We all now that ninjas cant get to Leitrim were I may or may not be!

ofcoz i laugh at you, real martial artist dont talk Sh*t like you do, get real and get a life dreamer! have you even seen real ninja training mate its not like what you talking about kid! its nice to have a dream but dont bring it to reality and believing its real little boy!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,415 ✭✭✭Optikus

Dave you may or may not know this but i trained with yuor sensi as a child in the same dojo.. i know what he know his limitations and weakness's.. he was banished from the dojo for dishonourable conduct.. where i continued to train. My ninja spy's have been trained beyond his abillities , well the last i knew he had.. so unless he went to another dojo or got training elsewhere, he will shortly meet his dimise.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15 BlackBeltDave

StRiKeR understands parody! You truly are a real martial artist. Wow!

Optikus if that is your real name do you not know that ninjas cannot be kicked out for dishonerable conduct unless they helped old people across the road or were nice to someone or refused to kill a pirate. the real reason was that me sensei became too lethal that the shogun and your master got really scared because his death touches started killing people when ever they gave him cheek. He also trained your ninja spies in all but seeing invisible people and when he goes invisible you wont know what to do and he will send all of the ninja ears in a brown paper bag to you and you might wet yourself just a little. Also he trained in Hippo style which we all know beats shadow boxing style.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,415 ✭✭✭Optikus

Lol.. i see he is still a lier, and has you fooled good and proper. How could he have trained my ninja spy's they were hand picked as children by myself. They and i will never sleep till we have your sensi's head delievered to the Shogun. True he is the master of Invisibility, but we have designed new means and ways to overcome this as for Hippo style beening better than Tiger style we will all soon no the true outcome of this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 953 ✭✭✭StRiKeR

if you really are so good, why dont you meet some of us in the ring, you talking through your A*S!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15 BlackBeltDave

Like any REAL ninja my master is a master of deceet and lying of course and he has not fooled my but he has used his ninja skills on you and not on me. My master used ninja mind control powers and made you choose the crappiest ninja children in the nursery so he has nothing to fear from there skills and tricks. If you dont sleep until he is dead you will be very tired and cranky as you will never get him cause he is the greatest. The only way to beat Hippo style is to use Rhino or Elephant style and we all know that these styles are only taught by the hermets in the mountains of Carlow which are very hard to fined. We will see even though my master will be invisible.

I'd like to promote a match up between this BlackBeltDave and StRiKeR.

Maybe we could put a wager on it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,738 ✭✭✭Naos

omfg. Clearly this has to be a troll ?? For a start blackbeltdave, Sensei is Japanese for Teacher. and I agree with Striker above.. A nice friendly controlled bout to test ur skills...

*waits til Colm O Reily or ColumUK posts in here..*

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭columok

    You rang m'lord?

I dont think that blackbeltdave could be anything other than a trolling mofo! Jesus look at half the crap being written. So Striker maybe you should cool your jets cause it sounds like youre trying to start a fight with an internet 12 year old jackass. A little unnecessary I think! ;)

Also I fully endorse/sponsor any Vale Tudo match ups started on the interweb! I'll even judge this one if y'all like? :D

I'll put my money on StRiKeR though unless its ninja rules then it could go either way.:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 953 ✭✭✭StRiKeR

I do kinda think that he's just a jackass anyway! thats why I didn't bother say anymore since he hasn't reply nothing to my last post! I just dont appreciate that people taking the p*ss with martial arts!

Striker if u live life to seriously you'll never make it out alive..

Do the bruce lee thing, Fighting without fighting. Just ignore him, if it came to blows well then by all means show him ur 'l33t skillz' but only when u must.

As for columOk(sorry on da columUK earlier) .. A vale tudo match would be interesting.......

Well said Mear. Just because you see martial arts a certain way doesnt mean everyone else should. People have different levels of seriousness with regards martial arts and you cant expect reverence from all sides!
As for columOk(sorry on da columUK earlier)
In some parts of Ireland you could get your knees broken for that kinda talk! :D

Internet inspired VT is always interesting!! ;)

    .

I dont expect poeple to have the same level of seriousness and i dont expect reverence from all sides, but he should have some level of respect to people who train for years to get where we are today

Optikus knew he was a BullSh*ter, and he was only just playing with dave but still he respect people who spent their time and effort!

he aint no blackbelt if you ask me, as i will not believe it!

why? coz ninja dont have colour belts to define the level of their skills!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,415 ✭✭✭Optikus

Yeah im only having the crack with.. i do have respect for martial artists as i know how hard Striker trains, and its means alot to him. So stop being a twat dave its an art not a joke. ohh and beware of my ninja spy's. :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17 Bepetki

Could someone please take the spade out of Striker's hand, and help him out of that large hole he's standing in? Also please remove the hook from his left cheek which is reeling him in...

Dave and Optikus... your Tiger/ Hippo/ Rhino style of ninjutsu is really no match for my newly devised Ring-tailed Lemur style. Descended from the Tao of the Brazilian ant-eater, Ring-tailed Lemur Do is swift, aerial and very, very noisy. I challenge you both to a duel of inanimate proportions outside Supermacs, somewhere just off Longford main street.

    Hajime!

Just because Optikus knows you and you like him doesnt make him any less complicit in what you feel is being disrespectful to martial arts. You should be more objective about what you feel is being disrepectful. And maybe lighten up a bit. Jackass internet trolls are everywhere and if you let some dickhead like this piss you off every day, then youre shaving years off your life!
why? coz ninja dont have colour belts to define the level of their skills!
Every ninja class I've seen has used white belts for low kyu grades, green/red for higher kyu grades and black belts for dan grades. Maybe you are referring to a different style of ninjitsu?

I've been training Tae Kwon Do since I was 5 yrs old when I was living in Hong Kong, I got my 3rd dan when I was 16, and i moved on to Wing Chun, after 5 yrs training Wing Chun, I moved to the UK and met a Thai boxer from Thailand at the time i was up for many things and I challenged him, unfortunely I lost, but we became friends, I started training Thai Boxing for 3 yrs with him in the UK, when I came over to ireland I couldn't find any Thai boxing club at the time so went back to Tae Kwon Do, but I didn't bother go for anymore competitions or try to get any higher ever since, as i get older, i look at martial arts in a different way than I used to, now its just a self defence and its art to me, the moves looks great and keeps me fit and healthy!

This is just another case of MAA guys taking a thread about real martial; arts and ruining it. Colomok you have no right to talk about blackbeltdave like that, hes just as much a martial artist as you (if not more)

They are more likely the same person, they only post on this thread apart from nobeltdave posted one other thread!

Sorry Irish Samurai (Note the real spelling Jackass!!) but I dont consider myself a "martial artist", instead I consider myself to be a combat athlete and I am certainly more of one than either yourself or Dave! Have you ever tested your so called skills Samurai or just watched them in movies?

Striker would you consider entering the ultimate kickboxing category in Ring of Truth 2 as advertised in the other thread? You might find it interesting! Also from the way you challenged Jackassdave would it be fair to say that you have guys that could fight in the ring? Would they be interested?

I propose International Vale Tudo Championship (IVC) rules (www.valetudo.com.br)

    No biting
    No eye gouging
    No fishing hook
    No holding the ropes
    No kicking if wearing shoes
No placing hands or feet inside the opponent's trunks
    Otherwise- vale tudo (anything goes)

looking for the thread about the ROT2, just a quick question, I read it before I fell to sleep, can a person who has not been trained enter, I was talking to my friends about it and some of them also find it interesting but they have no martial arts backgraound, just street fighters!

P.S. is that gonna effect my license in anyway?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭columok

    Striker

If they get on to John Kavanagh, the organiser of the night, he can talk to your friends about fighting at ROT2! They should email ringoftruth@gmail.com!

Johns' only concern might be your friends safety but talking to him might be the best idea!

    Hope that helps,

    Colum

Not sure what you mean! Are you wondering if them fighting might effect your ability to fight?

EDIT: By that I mean your ability to enter the competition!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 953 ✭✭✭StRiKeR

just in-case you didnt see my edit, will this effect my license in anyway?, I have been suspended before!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭columok

Is this a martial arts license, say as a TKD instructor or as a Muay Thai fighter?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 953 ✭✭✭StRiKeR

    TKD license

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭columok

    I see!

I suppose it depends on the rules of your federation. I mentioned on the Ring of Truth thread about the NUI Galway TKD instructors competing in MMA/Vale Tudo and I dont think that they have problems. Also UL instructor Tim Murphy has fought Vale Tudo twice this year and I still competes in TKD as far as I know! Maybe they have different rules in their federations?

Hopefully your federation has enough open mindedness to allow you, or any friends/students, to enter!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 953 ✭✭✭StRiKeR

I got my license in Hong Kong, as you can see I was training TKD most the time in Hong Kong, I got the License as soon as I got my Black Belt, and went for lots of FBC competitions, worked my way up to 3rd dan, but it got suspened when they found out I was doing Thai Boxing, not sure why that would effect me at the time, but I did break this guy's nose and elbow!
