    Hi,
Does anyone know of any reputable computer repair shops who will have a look at a pc and give diagnosis and sollution for a reasonable price? And also who will provide cheap labour and supplies?

Or if anyone here would like to take a look at it for a few bob?

    Thanks

    Hi,
thanks but I have posted about it here before and have never solved its problem. I don't know what to do, I'd just like to bring it to somebody so they could have a look. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Not Your Ornery Onager

Does it stop in traffic to pick up a guy? Or remove L-plates before entering motorway?

    Seriously.....is this the thread?

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=177661

Have you tried the 2nd IDE controller (CD on this now?) or another IDE cable? Or tried the HD in another PC?

    Hi,

What's an IDE controller and what CD would it be? I think the IDE cable has been changed and still no joy. It is not a problem with the HD.

Is there anywhere I can bring it so someone who knows what their doing can have a look?
    Thanks

Where abouts do you live? I might be able to have a look, I live in Dublin City centre

I live in north county Dublin. If you're in that area, you're welcome to drop by. I can't guarantee a fix, but I'll have a look.

<edit> I see from the other thread that you live in Bray so I'm no use.</edit>
