KEM in Dublin

    Any of you gentlemen know of a place where i can get KEM's in the city centre. i know of the one guy (RC Products) but its in Rathfarnam bit far out for my liking.

    they've stopped exporting them aparently.
    dude in dun L / rathvarnham can't get them till next year.
    got some decent plastic ones on ebay from the uk.
    they are super index also but not the nice wide poker size

    WPT (World Poker Tour) Plastic cards will be available in Special Days within days of their launch in USA. (USA Launch = 22nd October) - they are said to be as good as KEM. Prices are not yet available but will be the same as USA pricing + VAT & European duties of 12.9%.

    Bicycle, BEE and WPT standard cards will be in stock from tomorrow afternoon in both Grafton street & Liffey Valley. Priced 3.50, 3.95 & 4.50 respectively.

    thats great news i'll be up tomorrow to get some WPT ones,
    did i also hear a rumour of a boards.ie member discount..... wink wink nudge nudge...

    A 10% discount is offered to members of boards.ie on all poker products. Staff in the stores have been informed. Just ask for the boards.ie discount and it will be deducted from all poker purchases. (chips, playing cards, tables etc.)

    Picked up a pack of Bicycle's at lunch, very nice.

    Kicks himself realising he could have saved 35c had he mentioned boards...

    Prices were released today for WPT plastic cards - $39.99 per twin set. Prices here will be €39.95 for the twin set (VAT & duty eats up the $ difference)

    WPT chip sets will also be available.

    Release date of plastic cards in USA is October 22nd. Allow a couple of days for shipping and they'll be in Special Days.

    Here's some cheap ('ish) KEMs on eBay:
    1 ,2 ,3 , 4 , etc..

    If you can pick them up for 10 quid sterling in the auction, then it works out at about 20 euro including delivery..

    it's hard to get super index kem ones on ebay however
    but those WPT are poker width (an extra cm or so) and
    super index.. well worth it i reckon.
