Sequels are usually better than the first film?

    For those of you who do not know already.....
    Scary Movie 2 began filming in Autumn.

    If you liked the comedy antics of the Wayans Brothers, do you think that the second will live up to the first and why????????

    We all well know the main superior sequels but I am pretty certain SM2 may well suck as most sequels do.

    Also Blair Witch 2 will be out soon and I may be wrong but it looks like its going to be ****e.
    So the pope puts down the Badger and leans over to me and says , " My son , sometimes you talk a lot of ****. Knock it off." Before I could speak in walks Christopher Lloyd with a time machine under his arm and just then...it started to get weird...

    Scary Movie was nowhere near good enough to warrant the amount of praise it's getting, never mind a sequel.

    Well, I know I'm looking forward to BW2. Big time.

    Scary Movie 2? I dunno. The first one was a laugh, not much more. I left my brain at the house before I went to see it, which made it good. I think the Wayan's are pretty good, but as my good friend Eamon (that's Plastic Membrane to you lot) says, it's not a patch on the best parody of all - Airplane (which was on TG4 the other night).

    It could be a matter of taste but from reading your replys I have come to the conclusion that you all do not like toilet humour?

    Both sequels were on tv over the weekend too =) Anyway, questions like the one on the topic are silly. Everything's not black and white yadda yadda. There will always be good sequels and bad sequels.

    Blair Witch 2- ive been reading some surprisingly good reviews of it over the weekend, from people who think that the first one was a suckfest. Dunno, i saw the trailer at the flicks the other day, looked a bit like a Scream rip-off. Still looking forward to it, though.

    I thought Scary Movie was f ucking awful, by the way...
    Im going to the bear fights tomorrow, want to come with ??
