Esat and eircom packet loss

Hey, Recently i've been noticing in games such as counter strike that i get a fair bit of packet loss. I'll get like 4-10 all the time and then it will spike to 60 stoping the game for a second. Anyone else getting this with any games? I think its the routing because even guys on dsl were getting the loss.
