Aliens character question

(maybe this is better suited to horror or something, not sure)was rooting through my attic the other day getting rid of all the rubbish etc....anyway to cut a long story i found a box load of all my old aliens toys and collector cards, and i found a card of a character i dont recognise from the movie(having just bought and watched the movie on dvd recently).
his name was Atax, a ginger haired guy with a white quiff thing, reason why he sticks out is that i remember thinking he had a kickass costume, he apparently disguises himself as an alien, to infiltrate the hives...i vividly remember the figure of him, and his collector card(which im holding in my hand right now) has the Aliens logo on it(as opposed to the other 3 films, in which toys were never made afaik).....so whats the story ??
was he cut out of the film ?? do i just have a really bad memory ??
was he created just as a toy ??
its really bugging me now, cause he looked like a fascinating character

I remember the Aliens toys very well, I've a box of them upstairs still to this day. But whoever made the toys really took a lot of liberties once they ran through the Ripley/Hicks/Apone characters, they just kept belting 'em out. So he's pretty much just a Toy I'd asume.
