    Melodic Hardcore has been around a long time, when AFI started out they were classed as MHC, the best example of the genre at the moment are The Sick www.thesick.com
    Just as Hardcore is the meshing of Metal And Punk, MHC is a kind of meshing of Hardcore and other genres, To be as heavy as fook and yet have melody, Agnostic Fronts last few albums have been Melodic Hardcore.
