I was just wondering if anyone here operates a successfully Internet or Home based business. I have looked at a few over the years, and given 1 or 2 a go, but never really got much out of them - not because they do not work, but becuase I didn't fully give them a chance, the time was not right for me... http://www.cinergitelecom.com was one, I only stopped because I got a full time job soon after starting, but I still got cheques for small amounts for about a year after.

Anyway, I'm currently out in Australia and I have met some poeple who are making a very nice passive/residual income from an internet based business over here. Based on Pharamaceuticals, the business model is excellent and the technology behind it is the best I have seen. Also, there is no one in Ireland doing it yet which is an advantage to be the first. I will probably start it out here and then start doing it back home. I would like to know if anyone here has any recemmendations of good Internet/Home Businesses and any experiences they have had.

    Thanks,
    Zascar.

Why do poeple always assume the worst? The product is very good, it's a health product designed for everyone to boost your immune system...

Em, what will the Irish Medicines Boards and Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland say?

Because in my experience, any pharmaceutical company that operates with an MLM structure is dodgy. The most blatant examples are of course spammers selling viagra substitutes, and "resellers" helping South Americans push prescriptions drugs into the US, so it's usually safe to assume.

Course I think that MLM in general sucks anyway, because everyone I've ever met that was involved with one was a total dickwad.

Has anyone had any good experiences with Internet/Home Businesses, if so which ones? Don't get me wrong, I know a huge amount of them out there are a bit dodgey, but there has to be some good reputible MLM business opportunities out there, which enable people to make a passive income - that's what I'm trying to achieve.

    Any suggestions?

the successful home business is usually one that caters to a niche market, speech writing, hand made bodhrains or whatever

Selling phramacutuicals over the internet i do not think falls into such a category, it looks to me like smoke and mirrors

I've yet to fully research it, but the lady who intorduced me into it said that the main reason she started doing the business, was because she absolutely fully believed in the product. She earns a passive income of nearly AUS$100k, and her business is incrasing 10%-12% per month. I think the company chose the MLM approach as it is a better way to build the product slowly, rather than getting lost on the shelves with everyhting else.... So far what I have seen has impressed me, the whole compay is run very professionally, the technology behind it is the best I seen seen. I want to look into it further, but I also want to know what other opportunities there may be in Ireland.

Did you mean to copy the Apple website?

I know a few people who set up a home business from the web. Most are making so little money that its harly worth their while. However there was one guy who set up a web page with glamour models on it that was paying a few hundred a month, and I know of one guy who set up a site for a reasonably well known music artist that sold T-Shirts and albums and that was doing really well. But in both cases the person was well known and marketing wasn't really required. It was sure thing so to speak.

I doubt your idea would have much have a market in Ireland. But thats my personal opinion.
