Just seen it.

erm, ok first off that script is not correct. A lot of what's in that script isn't in the movie. Senetor Kellys talk about the melting car is actually mentioned in the "Making of the X-Men" that was on TV.

As for the movie... I don't know, it's kind of all substance that doesn't go anywhere and after leaving the movie it was kind of forgettable. Wolverine really played the part, and seemed to only to prehaps have proper dialogue or something. With the exception of Magneto who was pretty good too.

Fight sequences in general are lame.

That's about it. They handed out free special edition comic, which wasn't bad.

But... the single most thing that p1ssed me right off was the audience. Guy in front of me buying his ticket.
"So like does Rogue fly in it?" (says to the tickey guy).
"I don't know"
"Dude! she doesn't!" (some other guy shouting from across the line)
"That sucks man"
"yea and Gambit isn't in it either! this movie is going to suck!"

Then had to listen to two morons acting like the comic store guy out of the Simpsons.

Ugh, dontcha just hate that. I read good reviews for it though, lots of them, just when i was beginning to give up hope for the film. so im looking forward to it now. Its done well at the box office too...56 million in one weekend. I smell a franchise, i smell sequels, and mabye the geek from the comic store will finally get his Gambit. DUDE!!
