Although half the people who come to this site are probably Trekkies i have to say Star Trek sucks. What kind of loser fans write the Klingon language . And in the show the actors, YES ACTORS ( IT's NOT REAL),don't have a clue what their talking about but all the fans SUPPOSIDLY do. I urge my fellow anti-Trekkies to join me in showing these sad individuals the light. For the record, Stargate, EarthFinal Conflict and the X files all suck. ALIENS DON'T EXIST i know u may be shocked but someone had to tell all of you. Now maybe ye can get out more

I mean what the **** is a borg and all these dirty fans who like to whack of to the chick with metal in her head. the acting so bad coz they don't even know what their saying. Because you're being quite ignorant. Have you actually ever even tried to percieve the amount of 'space' there is out there ?
I dont see how you can just say 'aliens dont exist' , who are you to say ? So they dont live on Sol , but how could you possibly justify such an insane perception , as to the fact that aliens dont exist , at all ?
And dont start 'telling' people that a program is cr@p , because thats your opinion , just dont try and make your views seem like gospel.

Star Trek is just a sci-fi program, just like the rest. The people who take it serious are no worse then those who think Coronation street is real. Although the people I've seen outside who wear the uniform are a bit scary.

To say they suck? I don't know. Sci-Fi programs are pretty much responsible for a the innovations of a lot of inventions.

well yer entittled to yer opinion, but i would have to disagree. The shows are of great intereast to many, although I would agree that its scary to see people walking around in uniforms from the shows........

But to many they're much better than anything else on.....

I kinda like star trek. Not in a die hard way, but its something to watch when Im bored, much like any other show I guess.

star trek, in a nutshell:

TOS: Great, nothing beats kirk rolling around in the dust with some alien, none of your fancy particles here.

Films: started off sh1te, went to excellent (star trek iv and vi)

TNG: excellent, excellent, I wish they still made these

DS9: was utter rubbish to start with, then became excellent after the 4th season, kind of ended on a low note.

Voyager: hard to say, everyone claims it got better after 7 of 9 appeared, but it genuinely was really really bad up till then, technobabble and the all-powerful particles having taken over.

Trekkies: what is a trekkie?, someone who watches the show on a regular basis like I do, or someone who goes to the conventions and collects all the stuff associated with the show(s), I dunno

but Bloody Drunkard seems to be the expert so lets all bow to his infinite wisdom...'yis are all nuuuurdds!'

I have grown to hate star trek. Its the same s hite all the time.

3. lets not fight 'cos we're really nice, it against federation policy and we blew our sfx budget on the season finale.

2. Star Trek is over the buss is gone apart from does freaks who have those Spook ears they will forever be in the Star Trek universe.

Star Trek ? Not exactly a rabid, foaming at the mouth fan (Sorry if i imply that all trekkies have rabies, i dont mean it like that fellas !), but its got its moments. Best Of Both Worlds the prime example, Star Treks II and VI also. Prefer The X-Files and Buffy to be honest.

I like Star Trek. If there is nothing else on, I'm quite happy watching whatever episode Sky is showing.
That said, Voyager is, has always been and always will be a big pile of steaming sh1te. That includes the episodes with 36D of 9 in it. Why won't Janeway die? Why is Jacotai so pussywhipped? Why is 7 of 9 tuening into a Janeway clone? The doctor is the only interesting character in of whole lot.

IMHO Star Trek sucks the big Kahoona.
I don't particullarly like sci-fi in general really. I do however get into hobgoblins and lore and witchcraft and celtic mythology etc... but hey each one to their own.

May i just say I have always watched Star Tek ( Yeah thanks Dad !!! ) I enjoy it sometimes yes it does get a pain the rusty star fish, but over all it's excellent .. Star trek II + VI bot excelent , but i'm a TOS man .. Kirk ..

SPock: NO Captin.

Spock: I don't know captin .

Kirk then proceeds to shag it to death !!!!

From a person who does not now , nor ever has , given a **** about Star Trek for some reason , I say that the show has its moments. Sometimes an episode can be (whisper it) almost tense. It can be a bit of fun sometimes and Voyager seemingly regained faith that DS9 robbed. However , the names , costumes and acting are for the most part , S-H-I-T. Some of the characters are pretty memorable though (there is a reason why people wear those plastic ears you know...well...I assume there is).

I remember being on a session one night with Plastic Membrane and a couple of others and we developed "The Beefy King". All sorts of quotes started coming out of us - the only one I can remember was:

GOD DAMN IT JIM, I'M A DOCTOR, NOT A BEEFY KING!!!

It really was very funny at the time.

I love Star Trek. The Originals, My Generation, Deep Space 12 and Voyuer are great!

Favourite series of the bunch is T na G followed closely by The Originals. James Tiberius Kirk - whatta man, eh?
DS9 was only good in the last few years.
Voyager sux a$$ ('sept 34C of Breast).
Actually, (time to annoy the ladies), anyone know what size they actually are? That's my guess - maybe D
