IBB in limerick

    i saw about last may i think it was that they were awarded the wireless licence for limerick
    anyone know about their progress or plans regarding the roll out ?
    ive heard absolutly nothing in local or national press but maybe someone here would have an insight

    Initially they promised they would launch in both Limerick and Galway about July . While their staff will say either 2 weeks OR 2 months in response to every query they receive (like the well trained drones they are) the answer is that they Still have no equipment installed anywhere in either city and will therefore launch nothing in 2004 . They were supposed to start their install in Galway in May but never showed up.

    If they do launch in 2005 it will probably be on the day before they lose their licences for not so doing , so thats about April or May 2005 then I'd say and if they DO lose their licence Comreg will have it allocated to someone else by the end of 2005 who will than have a full year to launch before they lose their licence yadda yadda .

    So far IBB is only available in certain parts of Dublin,Cork and Wicklow.
