I know the same problem probably applies elsewhere, but I was down in galway recently so it's on my mind.

Galway is well known for it's weekend vistors for festivals or just weekend parties. But you have to cut your weekend short to get the last train back to Dublin at 6pm. Surely local bussness could get together and lobby to have a later train on a Sunday there would bound to be straight off fianical benfits to city center traders.

Like the boust Dublin city center traders got from the cheap same day day returns offered a while ago from places like Dundalk

the last train from killarney (to dublin) on sundays is 1812

I noticed on the irishrail.ie website that they have introduced their own 24hr clock, it goes from 0100 to 2400. It might be a bit confusing as the rest of use 0000 to 2359
