Have quite a few of these buggers around my nose and am dying to get rid of them.

I came across this invention on the net for removing them.

Just wondering if anyone had heard of this/used it before (in the testimonial section there is a gal or guy from Tipperary!)

    Cheers!

Have no idea if this product would be any use but the testimonials section is good for a laugh anyway.
I'm just sorry they didn't provide a 'Contact Me' option for this guy:

    'Timmy Scott - Toronto, Canada

I feel like I'm finally a real catch with the ladies now - what a difference getting rid of some blackheads can make! Now people can concentrate on seeing ME - not the blemishes on my face and backside. '

Were his backside blemishes visible through his clothes??? ;)

Use the Biore nose strips - they are a little pricey, but well worth it. They're essentially little strips of paper which you wet and put on your nose. Leave it for 15 minutes, remove. It pulls out blackheads from the root up. When I used it, I was shocked. When my boyfriend used it, I was appalled. It's good, creepy, disgusting fun and it'll get rid of the blackheads too.

I feel like I have shared *waaay* to much about myself in this post, but ya know, the sacrifices you'll make to better the boards community!

Maybe the male thong has finally caught on as viable beachwear!

Squeeze. Them strips don't really work, they don't get everything.

in body shop you can get a little metal rod with holes on each end works a treat and quite cheap...you just press over each blackhead. My daughter uses it ...use after a shower so your pores are open.

Yeah those strips are good fun sometimes but the blackheads will come back within a few days. As I would be sure that they would with the gun.

Interesting contraption, I would love to use it to check it out, but I wouldn't be too keen on cleaning it. *shudder*

    Hahahahahaha
I didnt see Timmy Scott's testimonial

Tried both the Biore strips and the metal rod thing. They seems to be very deep rooted or something.

I brought one of these back from the states this summer & it doesnt work, it also leaves marks! You should try the old fashioned way ... steam your face first & then either use tissue to sqeeze them or get the strips, but you really need to steam your skin first for any of them to work properly.

I went to a Dermatologist and she put this special stuff on my nose and used a steamer, then she squeezed them out... it was very very painfull but it helped!
Anyway a steamer is the best thing itll open your pores and then you just squeeze em out!

Witchhazel ... after having a shower/bath when your pores are open put it on. It comes in a stick witchstick :) ... drys out your pores in a natural anticeptic sort of way. smells nice too. That or tea tree oil.

    Thanks for the replies!

Seriously, I have tried all the suggested above. Even Salic acid - which is supposed to be good at getting rid of them.

As I have gotton older, my skin has turned into a grease ball.

Hence the thought of this "gun" thing sucking out all the gunk is very appealing.

Dont know if this will be any help to you.... i have had greasy skin for a good few years... with the usual blackheads around my nose etc.... anyway i was on holidays last month and took advantage of the cheap aftershaves etc... while i was in the shop i had a look at the lab series for man stuff.... i ended up buying two of the products... face wash for oily skin and a moisturiser for oily skin.... i have been using them for about 3 weeks now and i can definitely see an improvement..... i dont know how much they would cost here though... cost me 25 euro each abroad

Pantothenic acid also known as vitamin b5 might help, google it and put acne in the search, hope that helps!
