If you haven't already guessed, I'm really into astrology..I just love it.
anyways..I'm not an astrologer, but I do my best to keep an eye on developments at any given time (particularly those which pertain to my own chart)

so I was thrilled to hear about the upcomming grand quintile
There's been a lot of talk about "harmonic concordances/convergences" over the last year or two..and we have lived through some very intersting times astrologically speaking, last year with mars comming closer to the earth than it has in living memory (some say 10,000 years +) and this years tranist of venus an event which only occurs every 121 years and follows in pairs 8 years apart, so the next will be in 2012.

anyway...after the "civil war discussion" and the whole John titor link..I found this particular interpretation of the effects of past grand quintiles and thought it relevant...not least because the essence of it seems to be more and more self evident everyday. Nice to see it being confirmed in some way or another.

Forces of Liberation
In the last article we looked at the types of things that happened under the impress of the Uranus/Pluto quintiles. Keeping in mind that our present is the result of choices past, at least as far as we can see, then some really interesting things come up for consideration. There have been wars of independence or liberation under this quintile. One could say that there is one raging as we speak—in Iraq. But this is not from the perspective of the Western countries. To the Islamic mind, what is happening in Iraq is nothing short of a war for the liberation of the country and for Islam from the imperialism of the West. I am not taking sides on this question. I am exercising my Libran imperative of looking at both sides of a question and seeing the other fellow's point of view. “Terrorists”, “freedom-fighters”, “insurgents” and “revolutionaries” are all relative terms, depending upon who on asks. The fact of the matter is that we all live under some kind of tyranny, whether political, religious, economic or otherwise, and the forces of liberation are strong on the planet as we speak. The choices we make now will carry over for at least the next 20 years until a new creative cycle of releasing comes around. The last time we had this quintile we had world war. That was the choice we, as humanity, made. The seeds of that are still with us, though. I am not forecasting another world war. Even if you don't know much about astrology, the guy who writes this stuff has a great way with words and always gives an enjoyable informative read...


(P.S.~ there is a meteor heading for earth Wednesday..but it should miss us by about a million miles ....*phwew* )
