Hi I'm looking for musicians to play with in the Limerick area, bassists, guitarists, keyboardists or even keyboarders......whatever, it don't matter. Basically I'm just looking to have a laugh and play music NOW, instead of next week or next month. If your tired of just talking about getting something going or listening to other people talking about getting something going, then we're in the same boat.
I'm into every type of music really 60's, traditional, metal, classical, funk, rock, soul, blues, jazz, singer/songwriter you name it. I'm totaly up for having a laugh, but I'm also very dedicated to music, and very dedicated to GETTING BETTER all the time. I play the piano/keyboards and I'm half way through grade 4 of the associated board of music, I'm a bit behind in the theory though.....grade 3. I play acoustic, electric guitar and bass also, but not as well as I'd like. At the moment I'm working my way through a couple of tuition videos and dvd's John Petrucci's Rock Discipline, soom blues and funk video's and Guitar Techniques magazines.
I'm writing my own stuff, but for the time being thats taking a back seat. I think its more important to learn as many styles of playing as possible and be worth my salt as an all round musician by playing other peoples music. I also have a Roland vs-1880 18 track and studio monitors for recording........So if your looking to get something started TODAY get in contact....

I know a band called sin é who are based in limerick and i think are looking for a guitarist. there pretty good. they play in the boat club in the middle of the river all the time
