    I say chaps (and ...er...chapettes) , whatever happened to the superb actor that portrayed Francy brady (was that the characters name? the little psycho kid anyway) in The Butcher Boy , Eamonn Owens. He was called Irish Cinema's brightest satr for crying out loud. Dont tell me he has gone all Quentin Tarintino and done a ****ing dissapearing act. I mean the Butcher Boy was a great film and definately my favourite Irish Movie (next to the hundred or so quirky short films the country pumps out each year). Anyone guess?

    Sorry to disappoint u lads but the last I heard, he was lying at the side of the road in france, with his legs across the canyon, peeling babies and selling the skin at a higher price.

    Ahh the Butcher Boy... not hugely impressed by the film myself, but my wee brother was in it so that's ok... - he was the one who sat up in bed when Francie Brady went sliding down the middle of the dorm on his knees...

    anyway- wasn't Eamonn Owens in "Angelas Ashes" as one of the Franks? - I don't know, myself, - read the book, didn't see the film.
