    Well folks,
..have seen a few pro's with a fitted mic in their bass drums , with a lead coming out of the side presumably thru a newly drilled hole, and was wondering if anyone knew how to get this done?...or how to do it themselves WITHOUT damaging the drum or the glossy finish?!
So any body got proven ways of doing this I'd be much obliged to hear how it's done. Reason: I don't like playing with the front head off, I like the response from the front head off the back head and having that powerful solid sound with a mic inside catching the kick side and the mic in front of the closed head catching the response.

    ciao' amigos,,,Baggio...............
