When copying from a Sony camcorder to a DVD+R using a Philips DVDR can I stop the recording and return later? Can I pause the recording to change camcorder tapes etc.?
I use DVD+RW's all the time but I never used a DVD+R before.

yes. you can record as many times as you like until the disk is full or closed.
Can I pause the recording to change camcorder tapes etc.?

yes. on some of the recorders it will change from pause to stop after a minute or two has elapsed
