    Big match traffic advice issued
    From:The Irish Independent
    Wednesday, 22nd September, 2004

GARDAI have issued traffic and parking advice in advance of Sunday's All-Ireland football finals in Croke Park and warned motorists to use one of the two supervised carparks or risk being clamped.

Fans approaching along the M50 and inbound along the M1 are advised to allow plenty of extra time for traffic delays due to construction work at the Dublin Port Tunnel.

Approach routes via the Navan and Drumcondra roads will take traffic directly to the two supervised carparks at Clonliffe College and O'Connell School.

An alternative northbound return route to the M50, via Fairview Strand, Malahide Road and Belcamp Lane, will be clearly sign-posted and will avoid Dublin Port Tunnel construction works.

Inside Croke Park, ticket holders are being reminded that Hill 16/Nally Terrace are now segregated; once inside, patrons can no longer move from one section to another.

Parents are advised to check their tickets in case their children are assigned to a different area of the arena.
