H1B Visa Q..

    hi
i'm currently in my final year of a degree in accounting in DCU and i really want to move to NYC to work in the profession as soon as i finish next summer.
i haven't yet applied to any US companies, but i do know that i will need them to sponsor my visa, probably through a H1B Visa application while i work for them.

although i plan to stay there for a good amount of time and train for professional qualifications there with a firm, im not sure how open many US firms will be to go through the hassle of applying and sponsoring me, seen as i am only new graduate.

does anyone out there have any experience in going down this path, or perhaps know anyone who has done so recently, and maybe have some pointers?

i thinking of just applying to a good few firms in Manhattan and then seeing what the feedback is, but any info of experiences would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
