Gaim 1.0 for Windows?

Well as I use Gaim in Fedora with no problems, I decided to download 1.0 for Windows. It installed and runs with no crashes...excpet for the fact that its not connecting to the internet. Well as I use Gaim in Fedora with no problems, I decided to download 1.0 for Windows. It installed and runs with no crashes...excpet for the fact that its not connecting to the internet. It pops up that it "cannot connect to host" for either AIM, Yahoo or ICQ. My firewall (Sygate) doesn't detect any net activity and even with it switched off, Gaim doesn't connect. As most of the material on Gaim relates to its Linux version, help for this is pretty limited, so I figured I'd throw the problem to the masses.
