whats the sexiest place on a man or woman to have a tattoo?

i ponder this as i ponder getting another tattoo. i already have ones on my ankle and lower back but where else?

IMHO if you're talking sexy for a woman. Leave it at that.
Oh I know it can be tempting to get another one but like wearing too much makeup or plucking your eyebrows till their gone you can go to extremes. While for your average non-tattooed man a tattoo or two can be quite sexy on a woman, there comes a point when it becomes a definite turnoff.

To answer your question I think the sexiest place on a woman would be either the lower back or the upper back between the clavicals. But not both! That's very much a no-no for me..
For a man, and I wouldn't hold much weight in my own opinion here cos tbh "men" and "sexy" are rarely in my mind at the same time (cept miriam, that is one hot man). I'd guess it would be the upper-arm/sholder?

You could always shave your mons and get that done, would have to be a buzz (excuse the pun) to get your pubic area tatted as well.

yeh,i a friend of mine mentioned he was goin to shave a small section at the top of his pubic hair and get a little stickman pushing a lawnmower tattoo'ed where he got shaved so it would look like the stickman was cutiing grass/pubes,
semmed funnier at the time tbh.....

i think the most basic piercing , the ear lobe...

its not in your face..useally subtle (huge gold creoles....what were they thinking when they designed those?)... can be really sexy/pretty on girls
and can change a persons appearence for the better..

so ya..im goin for the ears

she said tattoo not piercing.

my choice would be on the back between the shoulder blades. dont ask why but just seems cute to me

i used to think the small of the back looked good, but now it just looks cheap, practically every girl you see has some sort of tribal variety tattoo on the small of their back, picked right out of the design books with no thought put into it

On a guy, accross their tummy or upper back( all big f*ck off tats) and on a girl, personally I like just above the hip bone ( I wanna get a star put there but really can't find a nice design, I want something that doesn't look quite perfect, kinda slanted and stuff)

Something that takes the bellybutton as its central focus. Only problem would be that you cant tatto your actual bellybutton ( can you? ) so it would have to meld in nicely.

the only problem is with those areas around the hips or stomach can easily be ruined if you gain weight. the design gets stretched and will never look the same again, and you dont even have to gain much weight for the tattoo to start looking ****ty.

Sleeves and half-sleeves look wonderful on women, and full sleeves look great on men. Although, a lot, nay, most of it depends on the person and the design.
I know the thread topic was placement of tattoos, but I've always found biomech tattoos endearing as long as they're part of a sleeve or the person's only tattoo, other tattoos tend to take away from them.

would reccomend designing you own tattoo but make sure to love it before you get it done, got a few myself but they are both designs of my own, mostly inspired by other designs i have seen, bmezine.org is a good reference for that. personally think backplates are male and lower back female but try avoid cartoon charachters and mythical cratures as will look dated quite rapidly.

Anything unusual that I haven't seen before tends to draw attention. Got to love a good sleeve though.
