Removing values from Registry key?

    I have just downloaded & installed 'Pinnacle Sudio 9' and now both my DVD drive have disappeared from explorer. I can see them in 'device manager' but get the following messege:

    Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)
    Any ideas

    Pinnacles website is telling me to do the following?

    How does one do this ??


    Remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values completely from the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}


    help - please.... going nuts .. close to a long UNPRODUCTIVE day sitting here
