Can't remember much, as I've probably not seen it since I was 12, but what I can recall is that is was a camp horror film, set in an 'Oirish' castle. The main lead fell in love with a ghost and to bring her to life, had to kiss her on midnight - while she was changing slowly from a rotting corpse to a human.

That scene is the only one that really sticks out in my mind to be honest. Any help?

    Would it be High Spirits?

I think thats what it was called. It was a Neil Jordon film, with Liam Neeson and Peter O'Toole among others.

That's it! Cheers - quit a decent cast for what I remember as being a B-movie - Peter O'Toole, Daryl Hannah, Steve Guttenberg, Beverly D'Angelo and Liam Neeson.

Guttenberg however is the very definition of a B-movie "star".
