Can one find a room in Dublin at all?

I was planning to go to university in Dublin for 1 year but having started to look for a room I'm of the impression that the demand far, far outstrips the availability. Furthermore, in order to get a room and view the places, you seem to need to live in Dublin already, which is arseways.

Is anyone else in this situation? Did you find a place to stay? If so, how? Any advice? It's no good if you searched with someone else because I can't do that. Is it possible to find a place to stay at all?

    hi there,
dont worry is not the end of the world, it s easy enough to get a place
if you want a room the best is to go to daft.ie.
the thing here is having time to go and see the place before you agree to rent
