There's a position open in my company for an admin person on the weekend shift. It's an IT company out in citywest and it's probably suited to a student.

The job description is as follows:

Our support runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All queues need to be monitered for urgent (Prioity 1) messages, which then need to be passed on to the relevant support person. This would be the duty of the weekend assistant

As a weekend assistant for SAP, your job will include:

    • Serving as contact for escalation management
    • Check regularly for Priority 1 messages
    • For messages where action is required

 Find / contact processor to pick up message (you will have a list of the mobile numbers to call)
 Update message in internal memo who has been contacted to pick up message
 If message is critical “Production Down” or “Go-Live Endangered” then contact US duty manager

The working hours of this position are 3pm - 11pm Saturday and Sunday.
Please send your CV to emily.nolan@sap.com

What kind of rate of pay are we looking at here?

3-11 are pretty bad hours but the mulla might make up for it

Why don't you contact Emily - I'm sure she'll let you know if you ask. I'd say that the pay is about €15 / hour but i really don't know for certain as it's in a different department than where I work. I strongly doubt that they pay cash in hand.
