I've just got a summons for a parking fine I've no recollection of getting. I did'nt get any reminders anyway.

How can I just pay this and avoid the hassle of going to court ?

    Hanx!

Most town hall/city hall buildings have an office for fines.

    To answer my own question...

You can call up the parking fines office, ask for payments and quote them the external reference number on the summons.

They will then charge you 19 yoyo for the fine and 12 yoyo for admin. which you can pay by credit card. The summons is then cancelled.

    Guys,

I have received a court summons yesterday for the end of march.

I had previously paid the fine to the council, but they have said today that I did not attach the notice letter to the postal order I had sent. They will send back by postal order tomorrow:mad:

As per the previous thread comments, is there anyway I can now avoid this summons
