My Geforce 4 Ti4200 decided to die on me last night after a 2 year life span.

Now I'm looking for a new card and decided to have a look at www.komplett.ie. They have a Gainward GeForce 6800 128MB DDR 2.8ns AGP, "Ultra/2100", Retail whick is 375 euros and a Gainward GeForce 6800 128MB DDR 2.8ns AGP, "Ultra/2100 Golden Sample", Retail which is 350 euros . Looking at the specs they seem identicle, does anybody know if there is a difference in the two since one costs 25 euro extra?

P.S. Is Gainward a reliable maufacturer?

    Thank you

I've not had a problem with one of their cards yet but I hate their product labelling scheme. I had a gainward ti4200 previously and now have the GT from this gen.

have a look at gainward's site -- the golden sample will have a slightly higher clock speed. Probably not worth it if you ask me but you'll have to check their site to see the exact difference and what it might bring.

Komplett seem to make mistakes like that a bit alrite, from what i can see the €350 one is a better card.......... but there is a 6800GT 128mb available on www.overclock.co.uk for €350 and thats a much faster card (16 pipelines over 12), if your stretching that far.
