    Hi,
    When I restart/start pc, I'm asked to click username to log on to. This never happened before and all of a sudden it started to happen. What used to happen is that when I would leave the pc alone for ages, I would come back and get the same screen. I'm not sure if the current problem happened when I got rid of the last one or what.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi what OS do you use?
    on 2000

    Go to the run dialog box (Start, Run) and type this;

    control userpasswords

    On the familiar 'Users & Passwords' dialog from Win2K Pro appears and you're then be able to uncheck the 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.' option. Click Apply and you'll be asked to supply the login credentials that Windows will use from then on.

    On XP and Windows Server 2003 machines; just use 'control userpasswords2' instead.

    Regards
